but... the top of her hair looks absolutlely flat, and it looks like you used two different types of coloring, which weould probably be the oil pastel and acrylics you said. It makes it look like part of the image was cut and pasted into another image. (appears as though you were using different types of styles in one piece, in other words.) The bird looks flat, as well

that's because it is all different... it's a collage... The top of her head is like that because of the style of hair that was "in" in the day the picture was taken. I coloured directly over the top of a photocopied photo.
